An Easier transition for us...
Thank you all who have been assisting your ESL students through this transition. Everyone is going to like the new system soon enough, I'm sure.
For us instructors: Login is much easier. You already have a Network ID and password. It is your initials and last name for a username, and your password is the network password you use to log in to Outlook or on the computers in the Teachers' Resource Room upstairs. We went through an inquiry process last year making sure every instructor knew his or her username and password. If you didn't have one, we went through getting you one. If you recall, that was the means in which everyone was emailed their other computer lab logins. You were only able to get that new lab log in information by logging into your Outlook with the Network ID username and password you now need for LancerPoint. It's the new normal. We should become more and more familiar with this as we will engage with LancerPoint every semester now as instructors. Welcome to the future. :) |
